Description

Aienla, a third-generation Ao weaver from Yaongyimsen, Nagaland, learned loin-loom weaving from her mother at 30. Using her body as part of the loom, she weaves red (courage) and white (peace) into fabrics with mountain-inspired triangle motifs, finished with handmade tassels—each piece carrying Ao heritage into the future.
