What Is the Saponification Process?

Saponification is an ancient technique that transforms fats or oils into gentle and effective soap. The oils and butter are made to react with an alkali (like potassium hydroxide or sodium hydroxide) to produce soap and glycerin. However, rest assured that all of the lye is used up in the process, resulting in a completely lye-free and toxin-free hand soap that is gentle and safe for your skin. This process also preserves the natural benefits of the ingredients, ensuring our Toxin-Free Hand Soap effectively removes dirt and impurities and leaves hands feeling soft.
